job description:
Working Area and Components:
- Focus: Combustion chamber components of gas turbines (burner to turbine inlet).
- Locations: Power plants, workshops, test centers, and manufacturing areas.
Typical Activities:
- Work independently on combustion systems using assembly instructions, drawings, and specifications.
- Record and log values.
- Direct local assembly personnel.
Power Plant Tasks:
- Disassemble/reassemble combustion systems (fuel lines, burners, etc.).
- Handle ceramic/metal heat shield plates, helicoil inserts, safety pins, tile holders, mock-ups, and end tiles.
- Replace burner components and solder thermocouples.
- Clean burners and measure flow rates.
- Assemble/disassemble devices like roller coasters or robots.
- Prepare protocols, reports, and follow specifications.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Knowledge of rotating equipment in power stations is a plus.
- Certification: Internal certificate required after training in Germany and on-the-job training at various sites.
- Travel: Willingness to travel domestically within Israel; potential international travel as part of a global organization.
- A high level of Hebrew and English is necessary
