A Snapshot of Your Day

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new opportunities with customers from across a broad market segment ranging from key verticals such as power generation, oil & gas, mining, industry parks, papers to palm oil in Sarawak. You will tailor solutions to meet customers' performance goals with the support of the divisional sales teams using SE broad range of products ranging from rotating equipment, electrical solutions, transmission and renewables products.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Responsible for the assigned markets and accountable for the company reputation
  • Close collaboration with other departments and functions regionally and globally
  • Develop and implement hub strategy for assigned markets to increase business potentials for Siemens Energy
  • Work closely with various departments and businesses, initiate and develop a healthy business opportunity pipeline for entire Siemens Energy portfolio
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders (End client, EPCs, Consultants, etc)
  • Act as an advisor to external partners to position SE Technology in early phase
  • Collaborate with Business Areas to drive early engagement and a clear win strategy.
  • Support Business Area sales in preparing budgetary quotations by clearly articulating SE value proposition vs the competition.
  • Support the team in clarification, negotiations until contract closure.
  • Any other assignments

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated ability in industrial sector with proven track record in developing successful complex businesses
  • Strong network with EPCs, Consultants, and related stakeholders necessary for success
  • Have a deep understanding with market insight in Sarawak.
  • Strong commercial and technical knowledge with experience in scouting and developing deals.
  • Great personality, a good listener, and effective communicator
  • Ability to work with different cultures
  • Quick learner and open to learn new things
