- Realization of creative design solutions for turbine parts through the use of best-in-class 3D CAD systems
- Application of analytical evaluation of designs with respect to functionality, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency
- Creation of dynamic 3D CAD parametric models for multi-disciplinary design optimization (MDO), including the development of intricate 3D geometry models, layouts, and product manufacturing information (PMI) or 2D drawings for product definition
- Provision of expert guidance to product design teams on mechanical design challenges and compliance with product definition standards
- Collaboration within interdisciplinary teams to ensure product optimization in alignment with comprehensive design requirements and the overarching vision of Siemens Energy
- Support in the planning and coordination of product definition tasks and manufacturing support activities, showing your organizational prowess
- University degree or equivalent experience in design engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field
- Experience in mechanical design, with a portfolio to showcase your expertise; experience in component design, stack-up analysis, and geometric product specification
- Proficiency in Siemens NX 3D CAD system - show us what you can create!
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Siemens PLM Teamcenter, SAP R/3 or S/4 Hana
- High degree of pro-active, analytical, organizational and communication skills. Intercultural experience (USA, Germany, India) preferred - we value a global perspective
- Proficiency in German and very good command of the English language (both spoken and written skills), ready to connect with our global teams
