A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Tool Maintenance and Test Technician (9:30am – 6:00PM), your day begins in the tool depot, where you move between assembling tool kits, inspecting equipment, and ensuring inventory is stocked and organized. As the Tool Maintenance and Test Technician, you’ll perform hands‑on mechanical work, operate material‑handling equipment, and prepare tooling orders for shipment. Throughout the day, you’ll help maintain a safe, clean workspace while supporting teammates and ensuring technicians have the tools they need to keep operations running smoothly.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Inspect, repair, and refurbish tooling and equipment across hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Assemble, verify, and prepare tool kits for shipment to support ongoing operational needs.
  • Maintain and organize the tool crib, including inventory control, issuing, and returning equipment.
  • Replenish tool kit components by pulling from inventory or coordinating with the Tooling Engineer.
  • Conduct inspections and testing procedures to ensure tooling meets safety and performance standards.
  • Operate fork trucks, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and lifting systems to support daily workflow.

What You Bring

  • High School diploma/GED that can be verified and the ability to read, write, follow instructions, and perform basic arithmetic.
  • 2+ years of experience with mechanical operations (ie. welding, machining, assembly) is preferred but not required; Background in industrial or warehouse operations (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to use measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools confidently and safely.
  • Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office; knowledge using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent hands‑on tasks in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience or willingness to be trained/certified on fork trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and lifting systems.
