À propos de la fonction
A Snapshot of Your Day
Imagine starting your day at one of Siemens Gamesa’s cutting‑edge prototype turbines, the very first of its kind anywhere in the world. You collaborate closely with Test Managers, design engineers, and service teams to understand how new technology behaves under real‑world conditions. Every day brings new insights, complex analyses, and meaningful decisions that shape the next generation of turbine design. You are the first to observe findings, the first to evaluate them, and the first to feed critical learnings back into the organization.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Perform tests on prototype turbines, both onsite and remotely, following the defined test program
- Conduct troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis to keep prototypes operating safely and efficiently
- Report and follow up on findings to ensure continuous learning and improvement
- Analyze prototype performance data using various digital tools and systems
- Provide daily operational updates to management and project stakeholders
- Collaborate with Test Managers, engineering teams, and service colleagues to translate findings into future solutions
What You Bring
- A relevant technical education such as Bachelor of Technology Management and Marine Engineering, B.Sc., or M.Sc. in engineering
- Hands‑on experience with commissioning, preferably on wind turbines or similar complex technical systems
- Strong interest in IT and software, with a curious mindset and willingness to learn
- Analytical thinking, persistence, and a proactive approach to technical challenges
- Knowledge of MATLAB is an advantage but not a requirement
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work in a structured manner, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Openness to travel to prototype turbine sites, primarily in Denmark, including North and West Jutland
About the Team
You will join the Turbine Measurement & Operation (TMO) department within the Northern Europe & Middle Europe region. Our team is responsible for the operation, validation, and learning processes surrounding Siemens Gamesa’s prototype turbines, the first units that pave the way for every future product generation. The environment is highly technical, hands‑on, and curiosity‑driven, where Test Engineers and Test Managers work closely together to turn early‑stage technology into robust, real‑world performance.
