Picture yourself as the go-to expert supporting gas turbine operations and maintenance while delivering impactful solutions to customers. As a Technical Support Engineer, your day will involve managing outage and inspection planning, resolving technical inquiries, and bridging customer demands with innovative solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to initiate technical recommendations, support presentations, and ensure timely delivery of reports and resources. Your role will be instrumental in providing outstanding customer care, driving technical excellence, and contributing to the success of Siemens Energy’s cutting-edge technologies.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support outage and inspection scope planning, preparation, and execution internally and externally to ensure smooth operations.
  • Create and follow up on technical cases and tickets for operational and maintenance issues, delivering solutions within required timelines.
  • Analyze and report gas turbine operation issues, providing regular operational reports and recommendations.
  • Recommend inspection tools, instruments, consumables, and resources tailored to specific scopes or activities.
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve technical inquiries, bridge demands with solutions, and explore upselling opportunities.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Engineering (or comparable).
  • Hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of gas turbine combined cycle power plants, chemical plants, or oil and gas industries.
  • Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset for addressing technical issues and meeting customer demands.
  • Keen interest in learning about turbomachinery technology and related knowledge.
  • Experience in handling, troubleshooting, and engineering turbomachinery control systems such as T3000 or PCS 7.
  • Proficiency in Chinese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include Python coding, cloud computing (e.g., AWS), and Salesforce/SAP certifications.
