A Snapshot of Your Day

The Clarification and Logistics Catalog group provides Illustrated Parts Catalogs and Spare Parts Packages that support Service customer needs. This position contributes to parts information by defining and maintaining standard spare parts packages for Steam Turbines.  Accurate spare parts identification facilitates customer quotes and orders, Parts Catalog creation, outage planning, and parts forecasting activities. 

Working with multiple departments to collect engineering and service input and analyzing configuration and usage data, you support further data quality improvement together with our global experts. In this context, you will play a decisive role while continuously improving the data quality of parts packages. 

 

How You will Make an Impact

  • Collaborate with New Unit Engineering, Service Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and Order Management to identify the optimal spare parts for Steam Turbine service events.
  • Maintain standard spares lists and apply spare parts codes to unit configuration data.
  • Support Technical Clarification with parts identification.
  • Support Parts Catalog creation with the relevant spare parts identified.
  • Sustainable data quality by capturing the knowledge from multiple areas within the organization and maintaining data in the systems of record.

 

What You Bring 

  • You have graduated from university, preferred Mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Data Science.
  • Minimum experience 5-7 years with product design, product service or order execution OR 5+ years' experience in data analytics.
  • You want to start your career path in a leading international energy company.
  • You want to participate in building up a new Data & Clarification Management Hub in Mexico.
  • You speak English on an advanced level. German is a plus.
  • You are interested in Data structures as well as analyzing & solving complex data challenges in an environment of large assets to serve the global Energy Service business.  
  • You are a very good communicator along with problem solving and proactive skills.
  • Excellent team skills with effective communication & interpersonal skills to blend in a multicultural and cross-regional working team, but also like to work independently.
  • You are highly motivated to work in an international matrix organization and to collaborate cross-functional.
  • Terms like empowerment and self-driven-agile teams is nothing new for you.
  • You have advanced MS Office365 applications skills, preferred first experiences in data exploring as well as rough SAP capabilities. 
  • Strong Excel skills preferred.
