To act as Tax Professional working within Asia Tax Services Centre (ATC), responsible for a broad range of tax compliance and tax support for nominated countries within APAC & European regions. To provide timely and proactive advice to internal customers and to act as liaison with external consultants and regulatory authorities.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • To work as a member of ATC and collaboratively with regional Country tax functions. This includes being a first point of contact for all Tax matters for nominated countries and act as liaison with external consultants, regulatory authorities, Country Tax team members and Head of ATC.
  • To ensure full corporate tax compliance for nominated countries, including submission of tax accounting, WHT compliance, preparation of tax computation/tax return, following up on tax refunds, tax audits etc. Includes Direct and Indirect taxes. Includes co-ordination and review of compliance in foreign jurisdiction of work prepared by external consultants. Data collection and information exchange with external consultants
  • To provide timely and proactive advice to senior management and internal customers
  • Participate in the quarterly closing process and other processes (e.g. Quarter 3 and year-end closings for reporting purposes) including the calculation of current tax and deferred tax for SE entities.
  • Explore tax optimal solutions including tax incentives, treaty relief, tax refunds etc. Support tax excellence focused process improvement .
  • Responsible for internal reporting relating to allocated tasks
  • To support preparation of local transfer pricing documentation.

What You Bring

  • Strong knowledge in general tax and tax accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills and able to understand complex business transactions.
  • Able to identify potential tax risks and suggest possible solutions / mitigating factors
  • Good command of English - both written and verbal
