A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Tax Applications Manager, you play an active role in managing and maintaining third-party tax applications while ensuring seamless integration. You will be involved in discussions with tax and IT experts to align on digital projects, ensure compliance, and provide training to team members. You will coordinate project timelines, support system maintenance, and troubleshoot integration issues, contributing to the continuous improvement and efficiency of tax applications and processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Manage and maintain third-party (tax) applications/solutions and its integration within SAP systems (like Microsoft, Vertex Tax Engine, SAP DRC and others)
• Provide training to team members.
• Work together in cross-functional teams, side by side with tax & IT experts, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Build up a maintenance and support concept for tax solutions.
• Support digital projects.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’/Master´s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Physics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Third-Party Applications & Integration: 2-5 years of experience implementing third-party applications, managing complex tools, and working on integration projects within ERP systems, especially SAP (FI, SD, MM, and Customizing).
• Tax & Finance Industry Expertise: Experience in the tax or finance industry, with knowledge of tax regulations, compliance reporting, VAT determination, and tax applications.
• Project Management & Training: Strong project management skills, with experience providing training and guidance to team members, and working with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities and an excellent command of English
