Snapshot of your day  
You will work in a growing function in this position that entails a large responsibility and represent Supply Chain Quality in cross functional meetings and strongly collaboration with Procurement, Project Management, Manufacturing & Logistics, Project Engineering and Project Quality Management with a shared target to secure qualified deliveries from qualified suppliers.   

We work in a multi-functional environment with contacts with different departments locally and globally. Networking is a key for success! 

 

How You’ll Make an Impact  

  • Working in a group of approx. 10 colleagues in Sweden and 1 colleague in Romania 
  • Coordinate, organize, and drive activities to ensure that the right action is taken at the right time through the different phases of the deviation report. 
  • Ensure that suppliers conduct correct root cause analyses (RCA) and that the measures implemented by the suppliers prevent recurrence. 
  • Actively analyze statistics related to supplier-caused quality deficiencies in order to verify and validate measures taken and to detect any recurring deviations. 

 

 

What You Bring  

  • Bachelor or master’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, industrial engineering, or a similar field.  
  • Technical experience with industrial process technology and /or auxiliary systems in energy generation plants (enclosures, steel structures, piping, pressure vessels, skids, etc.) 
  • In-depth knowledge in welding (International Welding Engineer IWE or International Welding Technologist IWT Diploma (International Welding Specialist IWS Diploma with knowledge and experience could be considered). 
  • Knowledge and experience regarding PED 2014/68/EU and good knowledge associated European Directives. 
  • Experience regarding harmonized standard EN 13480:2017 series (Metallic Industrial Piping), standard EN 13445:2021 series (Unfired Pressure Vessels), standards of Non-Destructive Testing ISO 9712:2022 and ISO 17635:2017 (personal qualification and certifications are meritoriously) as well as harmonized standards of pressure retaining and load bearing materials. 
  • Knowledge and experience regarding harmonized standard ISO 3834-2:2021 and ISO 14731:2019 (Quality Management of Welding and allied processes) 
  • At least 5+ years of relevant professional experience in quality management, engineering, or manufacturing and/or installation processes for pressure equipment’s. 
  • Supplier Auditor experience is meritoriously. 
  • Profound knowledge in the application of quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, RCA. 
  • Business fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English. 
  • Open minded, results & solution oriented and good analytical thinking.  
  • Willingness to travel, nationally and internationally.

The Supplier Quality & Development Organization is responsible for securing the best performing supply base in quality, reliability, and safety. Our function "Supplier Quality & Development" acts as a support to procurement and manufacturing with preventive and reactive measures. Our team is acting as a global team across business areas and regions providing standards and tools to ensure quality and delivery for all purchased goods.
