A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Student Worker in the Advanced Procurement team at Siemens Gamesa, your day will be filled with activities that support the development and coordination of supply chain processes related to Nacelle systems and pre-assemblies. You will engage in supplier coordination, assist in procurement processes, and use tools such as ARIBA and Prioneer. Expect to work in a dynamic environment where collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to driving business success.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Assist in identifying potential suppliers for sub-assemblies across global markets.
- Support the preparation of supplier evaluations and benchmarking, focusing on cost, quality, and service.
- Help maintain and update supplier data and documentation in ARIBA.
- Work with the team to track project-related information using the Prioneer tool.
- Assist in preparing documentation for long-term supplier agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Technology, Operations) to gather inputs for business case analysis.
- Support data collection and analysis for outsourcing initiatives.
- Participate in meetings and help document action points and follow-ups.
What You Bring
- Currently studying a bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Great communication and organizational skills.
- Curiosity about procurement and supplier relationship management.
- Basic knowledge of procurement tools like ARIBA is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Capability to thrive in an international, cross-functional setting.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
