A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Student Worker in Technical Writing, you will become an integral part of our global engineering team, contributing to the development and implementation of solutions for our Wind Power business. In this role, you’ll engage in meaningful projects, particularly focusing on crafting and translating production documentation for blade manufacturing processes from DK-EN and EN-DK. You will immerse yourself in technical writing and gain hands-on professional experience using IT tools and other industry-standard software. Working closely with the Process Configuration and Documentation team, engineers, and various stakeholders, you’ll thrive in an innovative and collaborative environment. Your contributions will be crucial in improving documentation workflows, enhancing internal communication, and supporting Siemens Energy’s mission to deliver sustainable energy solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Build, update, and translate technical documentation for blade manufacturing processes.
- Manage data in the PLM system, focusing on engineering change management.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to guarantee documentation accuracy and relevance.
- Support automation and improvement initiatives within the documentation process.
- Apply IT tools to improve documentation quality and efficiency.
What You Bring
- Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in communication, English, Technical Writing, or related field; we are open to different educational backgrounds - As long as you have a strong interest in Technical Documentation and Communication.
- Fast learner of IT systems, able to quickly adapt to new tools and platforms.
- Proficient in both English and Danish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiar with authoring and editing IT tools: Such as; TPS, Team Center, Lionbridge, Acrolinx, QSYS, Illustrator etc.
- Outgoing, enthusiastic, and proactive - ready to contribute from your first day. We welcome your curiosity and ideas, and encourage you to speak up, ask questions, and help shape our team’s approach.

Location: Aalborg, Denmark
Part-time: 8-25 hours per week. We offer flexibility with your school schedule, but you can expect to work at the Aalborg office for 2+ days a week, with the possibility of working from home once you are settled into the role.
