A Snapshot of Your Day 

In this role, you will support the formation and transformation of a new Supply Chain Unit, effective April 1st, 2025, dedicated to Blades and Vanes components. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Operational Procurement function within the Supply Chain Unit throughout its transformation journey. This entails defining, aligning, and implementing clear roles and responsibilities with accountability, ambitious targets, processes, methods, and several critical initiatives.

You will play a key role in shaping these initiatives by organizing leadership workshops, tracking transformation measures, and drafting effective employee communications. You will also support the execution and facilitation of the standard and management meetings and driving the completion of action items and initiatives.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Define and implement pivotal initiatives to transform the new function.
  • Manage strategic projects within the organization from inception to completion, including data gathering, reporting, execution, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external partners, maintaining effective communication.
  • Organize and prepare supplier meetings, internal business reviews, and standard meetings including taking proper notes and actions with responsibilities.
  • Assist in decision-making and support crisis management.
  • Implement regular communication channels and updates to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged. Regularly track and review the progress of initiatives to identify any potential issues and address them promptly.

What You Bring 

  • Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or Law. Minimum 4 years of experience. Experience in project management of critical initiatives or in management consultancy can be advantageous.
  • Experience in the blades and vanes supply chain industry and familiarity with products can be helpful.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities even under pressure.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication to foster successful partnerships with both internal and external associates.
  • Technological proficiency with MS Office or project management tools.
  • High discretion and confidentiality handling.
  • Ability to think critically, problem solving skills and skills to anticipate needs and act proactively.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
