Ready to kick-start your career in warehousing and logistics? Join Siemens Energy as a Stores Operative and take an active role in keeping our inventory moving like clockwork. You’ll handle everything from ordering and receiving to packing and dispatching, all while ensuring things are safe, accurate, and fully compliant. As part of a supportive team, you’ll get hands-on experience with cutting-edge systems like SAP, sharpen your problem-solving skills, and play an important role in powering offshore wind operations. Every day, you’ll help keep our service team supplied, our customers happy, and our warehouses running at peak efficiency.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Manage the full inventory flow — ordering, receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch — with spot-on accuracy.
- Carry out weekly stock counts, cycle checks, and 5S self-audits while mastering warehouse tools like SAP.
- Keep the work environment safe and compliant, including proper handling of COSHH materials and PPE storage.
- Take responsibility for safety equipment and tooling, including documentation for Dangerous Goods (ADR/IATA/IMDG).
- Spot opportunities to improve processes and work with the Site Manager to make changes happen.
What You Bring
- A real interest in warehousing or logistics — whether from studies, work experience, or just genuine curiosity.
- Basic know-how (or willingness to learn) with SAP or other inventory tools.
- Confidence to talk with different teams and be a reliable point of contact.
- Awareness of safety rules, including COSHH and Dangerous Goods handling.
- A flexible approach to work, comfortable in both independent and team settings.
