A Snapshot of Your Day

When you fire up your computer in the morning you will first check the results of the harmonic stability simulation that has been running through the night. You are keen to see the results as they are of high importance for a large scale hydrogen project which you are a part of. After that you will join a daily stand-up of the simulation model development round-table and share your current status and present potential hurdles to get the support of the group. After a lunch break you continue working on a test and validation matrix for a Hardware-in-the-Loop test campaign of the next generation product-line, which is in its final planning. Before you finish your day, you are reviewing the simulation model requirements from a costumer to support ongoing bid activity. Normally, you would go home now, but today there is a team event in the evening, that you have been looking forward to.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Preparation of network simulation models of current and future electrolyzer products
  • Enabling our costumers to achieve a grid code compliance with their hydrogen production plant
  • Supporting sales activities in grid compliance topics
  • Active support of project execution for large-scale electrolyzer plants
  • Validation of simulation models by HiL or on-site testing
What You Bring
  • Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering, with strong focus on network simulation
  • Experience in the development of EMT and/or RMS simulation models in PSCAD, DIgSILENT Power Factory or Matlab Simulink
  • Experience in (Power- or Controller-) Hardware-in-the-Loop testing is a plus
  • Background in electrolysis applications or connection of renewable power plants
  • Highly self-organized and reliable with a solution-driven approach
  • Good teammate in a multi-disciplinary international environment
  • Good communication skills in English, German is a plus
