Siemens Energy is looking for an experienced Technical Specialist in Power Plant Automation to strengthen our team. With our wide range of innovative products and services, we are a leading service partner in ensuring high reliability and optimal performance of various systems—such as steam turbines, gas turbines, and district heating—across power plants worldwide.

How you'll make a difference

• You will be responsible for executing control and optimization projects, primarily for Steam and Combined Cycle Power Plants
• You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing advanced automation systems (Omnivise T3000) used in power plants
• You will ensure fast response to customer needs and help maintain their operational performance

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Process Automation, or a related field
• Knowledge of process control network systems and related components (firewalls, switches, cybersecurity solutions, etc.)
• Knowledge of DCS and/or PLC/HMI systems and automation solutions in the energy sector. Experience with Omnivise T3000 is a plus
• Experience with Siemens/Simatic S7 automation systems and Microsoft Windows Server is an advantage
• Familiarity with Linux and communication protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus, Profibus/Profinet, IEC 61850, IEC 60870
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Proactive, eager to learn, and capable of working independently
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Proficiency in both English and Dutch
