What You Can Expect

Over two exciting years, you’ll gain hands-on experiences and become an active part of your team’s daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments - including an eight-month international placement - you’ll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders. 

As Strategic Portfolio Manager, you shape and drive Siemens Energy Grid Technologies’ Digital Grid portfolio by leading strategic programs, managing cross-functional and partner initiatives, and defining portfolio direction based on technical and business analysis. You ensure a clear, compelling offering, support growth across the Business Area, and communicate insights effectively to management, partners, and customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
  • Drive initiatives that evaluate the positioning of our digital portfolio, and derive insights and recommendations for sustainable growth.
  • Contribute to new business models development, evaluate, and prioritize the impact of new digital technologies in the portfolio.
  • Research, initiate and implement strategic partnerships that support the delivery of our solutions.
  • Develop detailed technical-economic analysis, with a strong focus on customer requirements.
  • Contribute and drive early engagements with customer with a co-creation approach.

What You Bring
  • A master's or doctoral degree in engineering, computer science, or similar field 
  • Relevant experience through internships and/or working student roles is essential; additional permanent work experience of up to 36 months is welcome
  • Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working
  • Excellent English skills to engage in a multicultural environment, with flexibility and willingness for international travel.
