A Snapshot of Your Day
Service Operations is seeking a motivated Financial Analyst in Orlando, FL to support the Field Service team! This role involves ensuring financial accuracy by collaborating on revenue recognition and preparing and analyzing financial documents, disclosures, budgets, and performance measurements for contracts. You build financial presentations for both Global and Domestic management, fostering customer relationships while adhering to key performance indicators and regulations!
This role offers professional exposure to both financial and field operations processes, with regular contact with management, cost center owners, and local accounting. It’s a dynamic and exciting position, where you'll drive transparency and seek operational improvements.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide expert financial analysis, evaluating reports, cost structures, and trends to identify improvements and recommend actions to boost profitability and efficiency.
- Act as a commercial partner to District Managers, overseeing financial performance (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), and collaborating with leadership to control costs and meet revenue goals.
- Prepare and review detailed financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and offering insights for decision-making.
- Ensure accurate monthly project estimates, working closely with operations to enforce revenue recognition policies and resolve discrepancies.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budget consolidation, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy guidelines and IFRS, while maintaining transparency across departments.
- Track key business trends and results, providing analytics to support strategic decisions, and offering financial support to Field Service Operations and the Houston Tooling facility.
What You Bring (Candidate Requirements)
- BA/BS Degree or higher required in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
- 5+ years of Accounting/Finance experience
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in SAP with knowledge of analytical tools like Alteryx and Tableau, and experienced in project implementation, contract administration, and construction accounting.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong financial, analytical, and digital literacy with proven problem-solving abilities and professional judgment; demonstrated experience in improving processes and collaborating cross-functionally within Operations and Finance.
- Leadership and Communication: Exhibits leadership qualities, provide guidance or training to staff, and has excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with customers and management at all levels.
