The FSR is technically responsible for all technical facets of the company’s control system, scope of work during equipment installation and overhaul during service outages.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Capable of performing installation, servicing, and modification of steam turbine control systems and related equipment with the highest quality standards as per OEM.
- Experienced with supervision and providing direction to a team to perform complete installation, servicing, and modification of steam turbine control systems as per requirements.
- Interpret P&ID and control schematics
- Communicate progress, schedules, and recommend spare parts to client and prepare detailed technical reports.
- Interact with different levels of customer and Siemens Energy organizations to report progress, resolve issues, and identify potential services to be offered based on customer needs.
- Maintain the highest level of a Zero-harm culture in part by following and enforcing all company and customer EHS policies and programs.
- Physical ability to climb ladders work around machinery and evacuate work area in the event of an emergency. The ability to stand for extended periods and walk long distances is required.
What you Bring
- High School/GED diploma or Engineering degree with equivalent years of experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of directly related experience. (Supervision of overhaul of IST and related equipment).
- Proficient in standard office software and proficient in the use of standard portal-based systems to report time, expenses, and service reports.
- Excellent and professional communication skills both written and oral. This includes the ability to hold difficult discussions with customers to protect company interests.
- Basic understanding of commercial aspects to identify contract requirements and recognize tasks beyond these limits for potential customer funding.
- Fluency in English as a primary or second languages
- Some level of knowledge of ST mechanical scopes and inspections
