A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Sales Operations Professional at Siemens Energy, your day centres on providing the critical analysis and operational support that drives our sales success in the Latin Americas region.

You'll start by compiling and analysing the latest energy market trends and competitor data. You'll organise this information to be shared with our sales teams, ensuring they have up-to-date insights for their planning. Your analysis will be a direct input for the monthly sales forecast, which is crucial for supporting R&D decisions, factory load planning, and resource allocation. A key part of your role is maintaining data integrity: you'll perform required updates and ensure all sales activities are accurately reflected in our CRM system (SFDC), reinforcing it as the "one source of truth."

After lunch, you may join a meeting to support the discussion on marketing activities and strategies for our gas turbine portfolio, providing data and generating reports on request. You'll execute strategic assignments to help protect and grow the portfolio, supporting the Regional Sales Head and sales team.

You work with a growth and learner's mindset, using strong communication skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision within given boundaries. Your operational excellence has a direct, positive impact on our regional results.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Your analytical and operational support is vital for regional performance. You will:

  • Contribute to the development of our regional strategy by providing relevant analysis to position our portfolio.
  • Ensure the health and integrity of the sales pipeline within the CRM (SFDC), conducting regular data audits and reporting to maintain accuracy for forecasting.

  • Perform preliminary economic evaluations of power plant offerings to support portfolio positioning.
  • Deliver inputs for the high-quality yearly sales forecast planning for the GS S portfolio. Provide regional data inputs to support R&D decisions, factory load planning, and resource allocation.
