- solutions, and analyzing risks.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Areas of Responsibility:
- Transformers Design: Independently complete electromagnetic calculations and structural design (ampere-turn balance, magnetic circuit optimization, coil dimension optimization, etc.) for 110kV+ GIS current transformers (CT), produce designs and 3D (Creo)/2D (AutoCAD) drawings.
- Familiar with voltage transformer (VT) principles and applications to meet GIS integration requirements.
- Innovation & Optimization: Track technologies like electronic transformers and eco-friendly insulation media; participate in R&D of new transformers.
- Supply Chain & Production Support: Manage transformers supplier development, certification, technical evaluation, and audit.
- Standards & Testing: drive and develop testing protocols per IEC/GB/DL standards of transformers ; drive type tests, routine tests, and certifications.
- Collaboration: Provide pre-sales/post-sales technical support; coordinate cross-functional teams to solve technical problems.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Mechanical Design; 3+ years of CT design experience, experience with GIS CTs.
- Master CT electromagnetic design (principles, parameter calculations), structural design (tolerance/gap optimization), and performance metrics; proficient in AutoCAD/Creo, familiar with simulation tools (a plus); familiar with IEC 61869, GB 20840, etc.
- Structural thinking to determine the best path for complex challenges, with the ability to build reasonable plans and schedules.
- A proactive, driven, and confident working style.
- Strong oral and written English skills for effective technical communication.
