As a part of fundamental development in an innovative technology company in the energy sector, your focus is on the development of new concepts and basic technologies for a sustainable, secure and efficient energy future. In your basic research, you will work on solutions that are well before they are ready for the market – and that will change the energy industry in the long term. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an engineer (m/f/d) in basic research who enjoys scientific work, technical creativity and interdisciplinary cooperation.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Conception and research of new technologies, as well as the development of innovative electrical concepts and their theoretical foundation up to PoC's and prototypes
  • Performing electrical field calculations and evaluating losses in power transformer components
  • New and further development of simulation and calculation methods in the field of electrical engineering
  • Planning, implementation and evaluation of test series and comparison with calculation results
What You Bring
  • Completed studies M.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
  • Long term of experience in an engineering product development or research environment for power transformers, including hands-on use of simulation software for electromagnetic and dielectric analysis
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a distributed team environment
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus, especially German
