A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Real Estate Financial Controller in SE Real Estate, you will play a key role in the commercial and financial management of our real estate portfolio in Denmark, while also supporting activities across the Netherlands and Belgium. Your day will be characterized by close collaboration with local Real Estate teams, project managers, and business stakeholders. You will ensure transparent financial insights, strong governance, and high-quality reporting, while contributing to value creation and continuous improvements across the portfolio.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Ensure timely and accurate financial records in compliance with Siemens Energy Financial Reporting Guidelines (IFRS)
• Ensure compliance with IFRS 16 and alignment with SE Real Estate guidelines and accounting principles
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and actuals vs. variance reporting at country level
• Act as a trusted finance partner to the Head of RE Denmark and the local RE DK organization
• Provide financial controlling and commercial oversight of real estate projects, including SAP project setup, budgeting, and forecasting
• Support commercial negotiations and preparation of external leases
• Deliver financial analyses on trends, assets, cash flow, liabilities, Capex, and cost development
• Steer, analyze, and communicate financial and operational KPIs such as Gross Cost, Free Cash Flow, Profit, and Capex to relevant stakeholders
• Support risk management activities and identify cost optimization and savings initiatives
• Lead and develop one team member
• Contribute to process improvements, implementation of new tools, and ad-hoc finance-related tasks
• Maintain strong working relationships with external service providers, suppliers, and internal business areas

What You Bring

• A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of real estate accounting, including IFRS 16 and fixed asset accounting
• More than 3 years of experience in a similar financial controlling or business controlling role
• Solid accounting background with hands-on experience working in SAP
• Ability to manage and structure large volumes of financial and operational data
• A proactive, initiative-driven mindset with strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Clear and confident communication skills across different organizational levels
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new skills and tools
• Experience with digitalization and automation tools such as UiPath or Alteryx is an advantage
• Fluency in English is required; Danish language skills are an advantage

SE Real Estate is responsible for managing and developing a diverse real estate portfolio across multiple countries. The Danish portfolio covers approximately 420,000 m² with an annual cost base of around €100 million. You will join a collaborative and cross-functional team that values professionalism, transparency, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
