À propos de la fonction
Your day involves ensuring that all tooling, fixtures, and equipment used in Siemens Energy fleet services and outages (gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators) meet the highest quality standards. You will also support local and global tooling projects, ensure compliance with Siemens Energy standards and customer requirements, and collaborate with design, production, and supplier teams to maintain tooling integrity, enhance performance, and drive continuous improvement.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Develop and implement quality standards specific to Egypt Tooling Center operations.
- Inspect and validate tooling to ensure compliance with Siemens Energy specifications and tolerances.
- Investigate tooling-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and efficiency.
- Support tooling trials, production launches, and maintain accurate records of inspections, calibration, and quality reports.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, Siemens Energy internal quality systems, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with local and global tooling centers and suppliers to uphold Siemens Energy quality standards.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in tooling design, manufacturing, calibration, or quality engineering.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, machining processes, and material properties.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and MSA is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
