We are looking for a Project Proposal Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals, supporting sales and tendering activities, and coordinating with cross department that involved to deliver competitive and high-quality bids.

In addition, the role supports project engineering activities after contract award that supports any execution project work and contributes to project teams during project execution for deliverables, quality and cost targets.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Review and analyze. request of Quotation, request for Proposals, and tender documents.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions, system architectures, and engineering concepts
• Actively participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and bid strategy development.
• Prepare complete technical proposal including:-

• Scope of supply
• Technical Description
• Concept or Sample Datasheets and Drawings
•  Prepare complete commercial proposal including: 
• Perform cost estimation and technical input for pricing, including BOMs, labor rate/ hours, and sub vendor scope.
• Coordinate input from engineering, sales, procurement, and finance teams to develop competitive and accurate proposals
• Liaise and evaluate with vendors and subcontractors’ quotation for pricing and technical information into proposals.
• Identify technical risks and opportunities during proposal phase and propose mitigation strategies.
• Ensure proposals meet customer requirements, quality requirements, internal standards and execution capability.
• Handle and support technical clarifications and client queries during bid evaluation.
• Support contract negotiation and bid submissions.
• Maintain proposal documentation, lesson learned, and standard templates for continuous improvement.
• Support project execution teams after contract award.
• Review project scope, specifications, and contract documents to confirm alignment with proposal assumptions.
• Assist in basic and detailed engineering activities as required by the project.
• Coordinate with project teams, customers, and external vendor during project execution.
• Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, and progress meetings.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, schedule, and cost targets.
• Provide technical support during documentation, installation, commissioning, and handover, as required.
• Sales driven minded, able to meet customers for any presentation, site visit, site verification and discussion upon need.

• Good ability to present and formulate clearly proposals for improvements.
• Technical & Engineering Skills
• Strong ability to interpret client specifications and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conceptual layouts and engineering documentation.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of technical engineering.
• Understanding of project engineering workflows, design reviews, and any site involvement.
• Able to understand technical drawing such as single line drawing, schematic drawing, General arrangement drawing, basic electrical calculation.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or related field.
• 1-2 years of proposal engineering, tendering, or project engineering. experience.
• Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals.
• Familiarity with process of tender documents preparation & submission thru tight timeline.
• Experience supporting projects during engineering and execution phases in an advantage.
• Experience with oil and gas, power generation and marine sectors will be added advantage.
• Posses OGSP, CIDB
• Posses valid driving license.
