A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you will develop a suitable bid strategy and coordinate the entire technical proposal, including cost estimation. You will analyze and evaluate customer specifications and develop optimized technical solutions. You will work closely with engineering, R&D, procurement, as well as internal and external partners.

Internal and external meetings, contract negotiations with customers, presenting the developed solution to top management, and handing over acquired orders to order execution are also part of your daily work.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Coordination of the technical proposal process for steam turbine and generator sets: development of a suitable bid strategy and preparation of proposals for new business areas and projects with extended scope.
  • Analysis and evaluation of customer specifications, followed by the conceptualization and optimization of the technical solution up to cost calculation.
  • Technical clarification and coordination of all interfaces in collaboration with engineering, R&D, procurement, as well as internal and external partners.
  • Conducting presentations in internal and external meetings, during contract negotiations with customers, when presenting the developed solution to top management, and for handing over acquired orders to order execution.
  • International travel as part of the mentioned tasks.


What You Bring

  • University degree in mechanical engineering, energy technology, or a related field.
  • Solid knowledge in power plant and/or turbine technology, as well as knowledge in industrial applications and power plants.
  • Knowledge in process engineering, layout planning, or piping design is an advantage.
  • Experience in coordinating and leading larger project teams with numerous interfaces and in dealing with customers and external partners.
  • Team and communication skills, analytical thinking, and a high willingness to learn.
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
