A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Planner within GT TR FE PMO, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed schedules across multiple work streams for factory expansion projects. This role requires strong planning expertise, proactive risk management, and effective collaboration in a matrix organization to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Develop and Maintain Project Schedules:

Create and update detailed schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

  • Establish baseline schedules by gathering and validating critical data from all work streams.
  • Generate S-Curves and Progress Analytics:
  • Produce S-curves to track planned vs. actual progress and forecast trends.
  • Use S-curves for performance reporting and stakeholder presentations.

Monitor Progress and Reporting:

  • Track progress against the baseline and report variances with corrective actions.
  • Prepare timely progress reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation:
  • Proactively identify schedule risks and constraints; evaluate impacts and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with work stream leads to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
  • Facilitate planning workshops and progress review meetings.
  • Ensure efficient data collection and communication across a matrix organization.

Tool Compliance:

  • Maintain all schedules in approved tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project).


What You Bring  

  • Minimum 5+ years in project planning for construction or industrial projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • Expertise in Primavera P6MS Project, and generating S-curves.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization.
  • Strong understanding of construction planning principles, risk analysis, and progress visualization.
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
