A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Manager you will be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary team. You will drive the implementation of assigned multiple service projects, coordinate project activities, and monitor the project related tasks. You will have the opportunity to collaborate and network with colleagues on a global level within the Siemens Energy organization and you will contribute to maximize the customer satisfaction.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of delivering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet business objectives and customer expectations. Your responsibilities include:
Project Leadership:
- Lead and inspire project teams to achieve defined goals in terms of safety, timeline, cost, quality, and functionality.
- Manage team collaboration and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
Project Execution:
- Oversee project lifecycles, ensuring compliance with regulations, corporate governance, and customer requirements.
- Manage project plans, budgets, resources, and timelines efficiently.
Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans where necessary.
- Address and resolve issues promptly to keep the project on track.
Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Act as the main point of contact for project updates, escalations, and strategic decisions.
Contract and Change Management:
- Handle change requests, claims, and contract adjustments professionally.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met while protecting the organization from liability.
Project Planning and Monitoring:
- Set up project schedules, milestones, and KPIs, continuously monitoring progress.
- Conduct regular status meetings, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Project Closure:
- Drive the project to successful completion, including final acceptance tests and documentation.
- Conduct lessons-learned sessions and implement improvements for future projects.
What You Bring
- At least 5 years of working experience with utilities/EPC’s within MENA region.
- University or higher education technical degree (Electrical engineering or related)
- PMP / IPMA or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge of High / Medium Voltage equipment maintenance (GIS, Transformer, Control and Protection system)
- Experience with outage planning and execution in power station, plants
- Knowledge of sales processes
- Work experience in an international environment is preferred
- Expert skills in spoken and written English and ability to work in a multi-cultural team..
