A Snapshot of Your Day

Siemens Energy Grid Solutions is experiencing significant growth in the UK and Ireland Transmission market, securing major infrastructure projects in both the offshore renewable sector and the HVDC interconnector sector. These projects represent some of the largest infrastructure initiatives in the UK, each capable of delivering up to 3 GW of energy—enough to power 1,000,000 homes. They involve a complex integration of electrical engineering, digital technology, and mechanical fabrication. We serve both traditional transmission utilities and independent developers investing in these promising markets, with expectations for continued growth over the next five years as the country advances toward its net-zero ambitions. Siemens Energy is a market leader in this sector, with ambitious plans to deliver 50 GW of large infrastructure projects by 2030.
