We are looking for a dedicated and versatile Product Engineer for Single Shaft Compressors to strengthen our "Engineering" team and drive the execution of the STC-SVm single shaft compressor products as well as DATUM and RF compressor products.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Project and order processing in the field of design for single-shaft compressors using internal design programs, including technical and scheduling responsibility as well as quality assurance according to customer specifications and internal guidelines
- Creation of mechanical calculations using internal calculation tools and leading design reviews at local and global levels
- Participation in personal and virtual meetings with internal and external customers, as well as supporting sales in projects
- Collaboration with the global team to create the compressor design and handover to detail engineering
- Optimization of processing procedures in collaboration with manufacturing, procurement, and testing departments, as well as close cooperation with the development department for continuous product improvement
- Active participation in continuous improvement initiatives and support in development projects as needed
What You Bring
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in turbo compressors and rotating equipment; experience in oil and gas industry preferred; Candidates with more experience may be eligible for a more senior level role
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulations (e.g., API, ASME, NACE) is preferred.
- Proficient use of 3D modeling software, Teamcenter (Globus), SAP, JIRA, and MS Office is preferred.
- Experience in responding to technical queries in face-to-face and virtual meetings with internal and external customers; Systematic, proactive, and structured work style
- Able to travel internationally; initial training also requires international travel

This job is based in Olean, New York. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. The base salary range for this position in Olean, New York is $75K - $90K, and the annual incentive target is 10% of base salary.
Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
