A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team at Siemens Energy, where you will set up and operate a variety of manufacturing equipment using CNC controls for multiple operations. Imagine engaging in machining, bonding, welding, and manual machining, all while utilizing hand tools and advanced machinery. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transition of operations, making a tangible impact on our production processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Embrace a strong Safety & Quality Culture in all your operations.
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50lbs as part of your daily tasks.
  • Interpret detailed drawings, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications to determine the necessary tools for machining operations.
  • Utilize material handling devices, such as Jib & B/C cranes and forklifts, to load and unload parts from machines, assisting crane operators as needed.
  • Follow established Siemens procedures to operate machinery and equipment effectively.

What You Bring

  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in CNC operations, with specific expertise in machining, welding, laser applications, and coating machines.
  • Preferred Certifications: Active fork truck/crane license or the ability to acquire it immediately upon selection; Career Readiness / Work Keys Certificate – Silver Status.
  • Skills: Proficient in CNC operation, loading/unloading workpieces, adhering to QA protocols, performing complex metrology, and interpreting complex drawings; strong shop math skills.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and pass a Process Operator Proficiency Test, along with standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
