A Snapshot of Your Day
The mission for a Local Process Engineer is to: implement, ensure and improve processes at the local facility so that the processes comply with the product and process specifications; The process Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the process stays within the specified, standardized process window. The local process engineer is responsible for the production documentation and equipment comply with the local facility set up.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Review BOD, BOM, WI and Drawings before SOP, to ensure most technical docs are corrective and completed.
• Technical evaluation for PTI implement to AEO, to align with global technical stakeholders for technical details, work together with AEO for a feasibility report (time, cost, impacts and risks to lead the conclusion). Provide all inputs to MS manager for approval before implementation
• Validation of new manufacturing process due to external changes, e.g. layout and equipment.
• Lead/ Support on NCR disposition which is critical to keep daily operation keep running smoothly
• Support on site trouble shooting and technical clarification for both production and equipment retrofit.
• Support on findings closure if related process and technical docs. work together with VPM OPL and global MS team to update docs throughout ECN process
• Support technical review in cost out projects
What You Bring
• At least five years of experience as a Process Engineer.
• Lean philosophies and thinking
• Familiar with apps operation e.g. Process House, Workspace, eQMS, Teamcenter, etc.
• Risk Assessment. Be able to identify risks proactively in a systematic approach.
• Rich experience on operational trouble shooting and Root Couse Analysis.
• Good understanding of intercultural behavior as well as an interest in working across functions and national borders.
• Fluent in English & Chinese
• Feasibility of relocation to work in Jiangsu province is highly preferred. Otherwise, 50% plus business travelling frequency is a must committed.
