Principal Business Administrator – Inventory

A snapshot of your day

As a Principal Business Administrator, you will be a key Finance Business partner, focusing on inventory and production topics. You will provide financial expertise in forecasting, modelling, and controlling inventory. Your role will involve actively participating in reviews with technical counterparts, offering financial insights, and influencing decision-making processes.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Enhance data transparency and control over €190 million in inventory through refined tools and processes.
  • Collaborate with Operational Planning to develop inventory management strategies that optimise levels and turnover.
  • Create forecasting methods to model inventory levels aligned with current and five-year business plans.
  • Implement standard methodologies across Gas Service product lines and assess stock provision requirements to reduce write-off risks.
  • Analyse production cost variances and support critical projects involving new technologies and digitalisation tools.

What You Bring

  • Strong communication skills in collaborating with internal departments, Siemens Energy partner companies, and external audit partners.
  • Applies specialist knowledge and experience to problem solving, where solutions may have to be defined and resolved.
  • Able to develop new working principles and digital models for the rest of the team to use for new approaches to complex items.
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in financial/commercial roles or ability to show suitable professional qualifications through experience > 4 years.
