A Snapshot of Your Day

As part of the Product Development team, you are responsible for hardware and software development of monitoring solutions during the complete product life cycle.

Your day starts with a review of ongoing development projects. You coordinate with the development teams and other stakeholders and drive the priority development projects in our monitoring portfolio and impact our solutions roadmaps which are focused on the customer benefit and the Siemens Energy growth.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Create product strategies and define product roadmaps based on customer and sales feedback
• Prepare R&D project requirement specifications and monitor project implementations
• Coordinate product development teams to ensure optimal resource utilization
• Assure factory and market introduction for new or improved portfolio elements
• Monitor market and perform technical/commercial analyses of competitor products
• Support business functions like global sales, offer and order management in all topics related to your portfolio elements
• Promote and support digital initiatives within Siemens Energy

What You Bring 

• Completed university degree in electrical engineering, energy management, mechanical engineering or comparable degree
• Expert knowledge based on several years of experience in development of monitoring solutions
• Knowledge of the product life cycle process
• Ability to prepare and perform presentations to external customers and internal management
• High level of self-management
• Ability to lead and cooperate in global teams
• Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking - decision-making capability
• Business fluent in English. Some knowledge of German language could be an advantage
