A Snapshot of Your Day
The team is responsible for the maintenance and compliance of grid connection for operational wind parks within a busy service department. You will need skills to identify instances where park control is compromised, assess situation and required corrective actions to bring the park into expected operation.
How You'll Make Impact
As a Park Operation and Control Engineer you will have various tasks, some of the tasks are the following:
• Being responsible for planning, specification and execution of measurements on wind turbines, sub-systems and components and activities derived from this.
• Analyzing, evaluating and reporting of operational issues
• Be responsible for support of grid connection aspects as grid codes, WT capabilities, feature and parameters
• The ability to explain sometimes complex wind park operation performance using reports and meetings both internally and externally
• Specifying new features and functions WT’s and WPP need to provide to fulfill grid codes in relevant markets
• Data analysis across multiple sources (SQL, Python, Matlab) to review wind park operation and create readable reports
• Perform system investigations in simulation software such as PSCAD
• There will be at least 30 travel days a year to various test sites and SGRE offices.

• Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for candidates with the following Profile.
What You Bring
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar combined with some experience in the area of grid compliance of wind turbines and wind power plants or other electrical equipment.
• knowledge in the following areas: power systems analysis, wind turbines / wind power plants and grid connection requirements. Preferably, you have experience with SQL, Python or Matlab).
• You are result oriented, structured and a dedicated team player, who is able to work in an international and multi-cultural environment and can handle interfaces with numerous internal and external stakeholders.
• You possess good communication skills in general and excellent English skills both orally and in writing.

The team members are a mix of fresh meat from universities and dinosaurs within the industry so you will have plenty of chances to learn from the best in their field.
