A Snapshot of Your Day
We are seeking an Operational Innovation Enablement Manager to lead the end-to-end operational innovation lifecycle across our manufacturing and operations environment, from idea identification and prioritization through piloting, value tracking, and scalable replication. Reporting to the Head of Operational Innovation & Effectiveness, this role partners closely with cluster and factory operations leaders, Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering, EHS, Quality, IT/OT (Information/Operational Technology), Finance, and the Employee Innovation team to translate ideas into measurable impact. The manager drives strong governance through innovation review boards, leadership QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), functional reviews, and transparent dashboard reporting, while leveraging tools such as Orbit, analytics platforms, pilot dossiers, replication playbooks, and the TR (Transformer) innovation management process to embed innovation into daily operations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Designing and delivering enablement workshops, events, and structured learning paths to support ideation, problem solving, and innovation execution across roles and maturity levels.
- Coaching innovators, teams, and leaders through hands-on problem framing, experimentation, and scaling practices to accelerate real-world impact.
- Operating and evolving best‑practice sharing platforms, playbooks, templates, and reusable assets to capture and reuse innovation learnings across TR.
- Building local innovation capability by developing and training embedded innovation champions and partnering with TR functions to support change adoption.
- Running awareness campaigns, external exchanges, and program events to promote innovation initiatives, success stories, and cross‑factory collaboration.
- Tracking and reporting innovation program performance by maintaining dashboards, value metrics, risks, and priorities aligned to TR/GT OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) and scaling objectives.
What You Bring
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, process engineering, innovation management, data science or equivalent. Masters is a plus.
- 3 or more years in operations/industrial engineering/continuous improvement or product industrialization. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
- Advanced analytics and benefits modeling expertise, with comfort across OT/IT interfaces and a strong focus on data integrity.
- Program and portfolio management discipline, creating structure through templates, standard work, and repeatable, scalable processes.
- Proven change enablement capability, including training, communications, and stakeholder management in complex environments.
- Systems‑oriented, hyper‑analytical working style, with strong organizational rigor, checklist‑driven execution, collaborative mindset, and experience in heavy manufacturing and/or operational excellence ecosystems (innovation platforms, EHS/Quality, 3i).
Travel, as needed (up to ~20%).
