Every single day, you will collaborate closely with the Grid Lifecycle Services teams, addressing technical issues and providing solutions related to primary, protection, control, and SCADA systems. Your work will be crucial in supporting the Energy Transition and Growth, ensuring flawless operations and contributing to our mission of balanced energy. You can expect to work in a dynamic and encouraging team culture that values innovation and collaboration.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Grow local expertise in fault diagnostics, fault resolution, testing, and system configurations.
• Proactively respond to customer requests in a timely manner to maintain service level agreements (SLAs).
• Handle faults from initial contact to final completion in accordance with SLAs.
• Maintain existing and grow new relationships with internal business partners for engineering support.
• Ensure that safe systems of work are always employed and all safety documentation, such as method statements and risk assessments, are made available within the prescribed timescales.
• Help plan and coordinate annual maintenance scopes at various Ireland substations.

What You Bring

• Good experience solving technological or electrical type issues/faults.
• Exposure to Control & Protection Systems.
• Experienced in safe working on equipment within a live Low Voltage (LV) environment.
• Willingness to travel Ireland wide and occasionally overseas (UK) to assist with installation, maintenance, and repair work across our UK&I install base.
• Microsoft Office skills, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Word.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities to seamlessly connect with all customers and senior management.
