Join our dynamic Blades & Vanes Network Strategy team as a Global Network Strategy Planner, where your expertise will shape the future of manufacturing. You will engage in strategic footprint development, make-or-buy decisions, and systematic risk management, ensuring our manufacturing network is robust and efficient. Imagine collaborating with key partners to propose innovative network measures that close capacity gaps and drive business success. Your insights will guide management decision meetings, making a tangible impact on our operations and the industry at large.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and align network boundaries, ensuring effective load-balancing between internal and external manufacturing shops.
  • Lead the development of a global methodology for make-or-buy decisions, carefully considering network risks and opportunities.
  • Implement standardized risk evaluation and mitigation strategies to reduce enterprise risks across the manufacturing network.
  • Drive strategic network development by proposing measures that create a future-fit manufacturing footprint.
  • Identify trends and opportunities through benchmarking within Siemens Energy and other industries, positioning us at the forefront of innovation
What You Bring
  • A Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Proven long term expertise in manufacturing networks, make-or-buy decisions, and risk management; knowledge of Blades and Vanes is a plus.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to adopt a meta perspective for informed, long-term decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to clearly convey findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
  • A collaborative mindset, with experience working in cross-functional teams and engaging with colleagues from diverse departments.
About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
