As HV Substation’s Materials Expediter, you would be working with a multi-cultural team of Project Managers, Engineers, Schedulers, Internal and External suppliers to get all materials on time to EPC HV Substations projects under construction for customers in US and Canada.

For this position, you will be the connection between material supplier and our PMs.

You would be accountable for the prevention of schedule delays by tracking manufacturing, updating material status reports, tracking and coordinating logistics to ensure materials arrive on-site, in full, and on time. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Early identification of potential production bottlenecks or shipping delays. Assess potential fabrication or shipment delays and collaborate with the supplier to resolve and meet delivery expectations.
  • Maintaining constant communication between vendors and project managers to report on material status. Working with logistics, site managers, and procurement to sync delivery with construction requirements.
  • Support just-in-time (JIT) delivery strategies for critical or high-value items.
  • Prepare routine (daily/weekly/monthly) expediting and logistics status reports. Analyze delays and recurring issues; recommend corrective and preventive actions. Notify stakeholders immediately of any changes to expected time of arrival (ETA).
  • Participate in continuous-improvement projects within the procurement, supply chain and logistics functional teams.
  • Experience using shipment tracking tools, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management (preferred), Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of expediting, logistics coordination, or supply chain experience working for EPC or ETO environments (construction, HV substations, project engineering, etc)
  • Strong communication and coordination skills. Fluent English is a must.
  • Ability to multi-task to support multiple projects simultaneously. Data-driven decision-making using tracking data and reporting to prioritize and resolve issues.
  • Basic knowledge of Contracts, LDs, Incoterms and Material’s management types (PRP, MRP, Forecast, etc).
