A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be working with the nondestructive testing of components to determine surface thickness. Operators check calibration of the device to ensure accurate readings. Each component is measured from a template specified in the work order. Readings are entered into a data sheet and reviewed for any abnormalities or out of specifications.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Check and report any Safety opportunities or near-misses.
• Verify that physical parts serial numbers match with the serial numbers on the router.
• Ensures the correct work instruction is pulled up on production system screen while performing the operation examining finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Continuously perform improvement analysis.
• Performs basic or specifically defined maintenance operations; cooperates with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers in repair issues.
• Other duties may be assigned and Cross training as needed.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Previous experience at an automated inspection station is a plus.
• Able to stand during working hours and read engineering instructions in English.
• A quality background is a plus.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
• This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
