In this role, you’ll lead by driving manufacturing and repair processes, development, and improvement projects, and collaborating with combustion design and repair engineering groups to innovate new products. Your work will also impact society by helping to reduce the cost of fabrication and machining of gas turbine combustion components using our innovative manufacturing processes in the Gibsonton Florida location.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Organizing daily operator tasks at shift start based on team availability and critical path activities.
• The Team Leader will collaborate with operators in a leadership capacity, ensuring all tasks are completed according to established procedures and specifications.
• Maintaining and reporting on production status to manager ensuring that performance boards are kept up to date and the job is tracking to schedule.
• Facilitating shift changeover status/briefing. Designated liaison to hand off operations to the next shift.
• Facilitating team, and department meetings and ensuring that safety, quality, or delivery issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner.

What You Bring

• High school graduate or GED
• Previous related manufacturing experience, team lead or college degree is a plus.
• This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
