A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Cycle Count Analyst at Siemens Energy – Vanes & Blades Tampa, you will focus on continuously improving all aspects of inventory management, control and accuracy to support operational flow to ensure castings are delivered on time and satisfying customer demands.
Specifically, this role will perform inventory control activities and maintain accuracy of raw materials, finished goods and keeping accurate inventory records. Also, it will identify discrepancies within inventory reports and produce reconciled reports. Overall, analyst is responsibility for sustaining and increasing company profitability by maintaining accurate inventory levels in our Gibsonton Florida Location.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Monitor inventory levels of critical items including Raw Materials, Alloy, Ceramic Cores, Wax Patterns Wax components (Plates, Runners, filters, etc.), Castings and Consumables.
- Support daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and production control reports according to the needs of the business and assist in generating forecasts to determine required inventory levels.
- Create and implement inventory control measures and cycle counts and assist Scheduler and Master Scheduler with analysis or reports and support non-standard requests for upper management.
- Monitor SAP reports and initiate communication to correct errors and improve accuracy performing root cause analysis of complex inventory discrepancies and suggesting corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and improve systems to automate inventory control levels and to reduce logistics costs.
- May operate forklift, pallet loader or pallet jacks and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Associate's degree or High School diploma / GED with a minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience in warehouse environment is required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals with differing knowledge levels.
- Familiarity with warehouse processes, quality systems, Six Sigma and other lean principles, team oriented, customer focused, with time management skills and analytical ability for complex problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office Suite, Word, Outlook, Power-Point and with outstanding Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance or direction. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
