A Snapshot of Your Day

Will be keeping track of parts coming in and out of die storage area and assisting Technicians with moving molds. Working with stage die mold for next shift production. Assisting with other tasks as assigned by tooling engineer in the Gibsonton Florida location.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Mold inventory control.
  • Staging of molds on floor, for production runs.
  • Reviewing inspection forms.
  • Minor repair and inspection of die molds.
  • Occasional tasks assigned in machine shop.
  • Other duties and cross training as needed.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required (associate degree, Trade School or Online Maintenance Coursework Certificate and/or Military Technical Training preferred).
  • Must be mechanically inclined and possess the ability to use all standard tools of the trade; including but not limited to basic hand and machine tools, various test equipment (as required), and be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and prints, as well as demonstrate the ability to safely and effectively operate basic shop machinery such as hyd. presses, grinders, lathes, mills, band saw and drill presses.
  • Must be computer literate and with 5 or more years of experience working with mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. Experience in CNC programming is a plus.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry 25lbs to a height of 4 feet and a distance of 4 feet and occasionally lift from 26 – 50lbs from the same height and distance + ability to repetitively bend and twist at the waist and neck and reach above and below shoulder level to reach product, components or equipment.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
  • This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
