A Snapshot of Your Day

Join Siemens Energy as a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, where you will take ownership of the plant’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You will leverage this system, along with various support processes, to effectively plan and coordinate the plant’s overall maintenance efforts. Imagine being at the heart of our operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently while contributing to our mission of sustainable energy solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Proactively coordinate all major preventative, proactive, and project maintenance activities within the maintenance team and across the plant, while tracking all reactive maintenance efforts.
  • Screen incoming work orders to identify the scope of work, required resources, and safety risks, planning accordingly to accommodate needs and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with various plant teams to ensure timely scheduling and execution of work orders, ensuring all CMMS documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to assist in managing the maintenance team, including after-action, utilization, safety, PM compliance, and work order backlog reports.
  • Ensure all legacy plant equipment is assigned an asset ID and criticality level, and that new equipment is assigned the same prior to or immediately upon installation.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent technical background.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree (or higher) is preferred.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, along with excellent computer and data analysis skills.
  • Very strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • This position may require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
