A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team as a Certified NDE Level II Technician at Siemens Energy Turbine Services in Charlotte! You will provide essential inspection services both during the manufacturing process and at final stages, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures. Imagine documenting your findings meticulously through Quality Control Instructions and utilizing SAP software systems to maintain high standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to the quality and reliability of our turbine services, making a significant impact on our operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will deliver inspection services throughout the manufacturing process and at final stages, leveraging your extensive NDE experience of at least 5 years.
  • You will utilize your Level II certifications in VT, MT, PT, ET, and RT, while also benefiting from additional certifications in UT (Shearwave), PAUT, and more.
  • You will ensure compliance with Siemens Energy Level II certification requirements by passing necessary exams and providing objective evidence of your qualifications.
  • You will take critical dimensional measurements and document your findings accurately using Quality Control Charts and Instructions, ensuring adherence to specifications.
  • You will validate NDE paperwork for accuracy in the Operation Information Landscape and upload reports to Quality Notifications via SAP, while also creating Quality Notifications as needed.

What You Bring

  • You hold a High School Diploma or equivalent and have completed the Career Readiness Certification required by Siemens.
  • You are Level II certified in VT, PT, MT, ET, and RT, with additional certifications in UT (Shearwave) and other relevant methods being a plus.
  • You bring at least 5 years of NDE experience specifically within the Power Generation Industry.
  • You are comfortable with occasional travel as part of your role.
  • You possess experience with gauging, drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
