A Snapshot of Your Day

As a member of a lean team leading a large portfolio, the candidate will demonstrate proactivity and independence, as well as the ability to work collaboratively. While the position comes with a primary area of responsibility, flexibility to step outside of this area as needed is encouraged.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Produce engineering documents such as design calculations, equipment and instrument datasheets, Installation and operating manuals, P&IDs, technical reports, HAZOP as the task demands.
  • Obtain Supplier datasheets, Drawing & 3D Models of the equipment from suppliers
  • Review the gas turbine auxiliary system assembly models with various customers for components for Installation, Space claim, Maintenance and structural reliability
  • Release the Drawing, Component Parts, PIDs in Globus Teamcenter.
  • Review the work of other team members, providing mentorship and instruction as needed with the ability to mentor and develop junior designers and lead sophisticated tasks.
  • Support Package design team to create Build to Spec, Build to print Drawings for fabrication
  • Propose and implement package upgrades sought at preventing future issues, improving the overall product lifecycle.
  • Exposure to UG NX and Globus Teamcenter

What You Bring

  • Minimum with First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputed Institution with minimum meaningful work experience of 8-10 years, preferably in Oil & Gas or Energy industry and/or
  • Masters in Mechanical Engineering with a proven experience of 8+ years in Turbomachinery/Gas Turbines Systems.
