A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Installation Apprentice at Siemens Energy, you'll work on real-life projects across the UK, while being supported on a guided learning journey. You'll play an integral role in the team, carrying out complex hands-on activities on high-value equipment across a wide range of product types. You'll learn to read and interpret technical drawings and follow business processes and procedures in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you'll be an integral part of the Electrical Installation Team, ensuring our projects are delivered to the highest standards. Your work will directly contribute to the availability and performance of our products in the field, impacting industries and society worldwide.

Your training will take place at our partner provider in Trafford Park (Manchester) on block release. Alongside this, you'll develop your knowledge through a series of work placements within the business & varying projects, based around your studies. By the end, you will progress to complete a Power industry substation fitter (Level 3) qualification.

  • A typical day involves installing our products and working closely with our expert Site Team.
  • You'll be responsible for the quality and accuracy of your work, following health and safety standards and organisational requirements.
  • You will work in various environments, including remote construction sites & office locations. Regular travel and on-site stays required.
  • You'll be assigned to different projects, participating in a 2-week rotation schedule.
