A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Technician, you will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the power plant by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation, control, and automation systems. Working closely with operations and maintenance teams, you will execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, support plant reliability initiatives, and ensure equipment performs according to operational requirements. Your role is essential in maintaining plant availability, safety, and operational excellence.

How You’ll Make an Impact

· Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on instrumentation, control, and automation systems in accordance with maintenance plans and established procedures.

· Assist I&C specialists in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing malfunctioning instrumentation and control equipment to maximize plant reliability and availability.

· Utilize computerized plant management systems to report faults, document completed work, and request materials and spare parts.

· Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, environmental requirements, and permit-to-work processes while promoting a safe work environment.

· Maintain and update technical documentation, operating manuals, drawings, and preventive/predictive maintenance records.

· Continuously develop technical expertise and maintain high standards of workmanship through training, certifications, and practical field experience.

What You Bring

· Technical College Degree in Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, Control Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience in a similar industrial environment.

· Minimum of 6 years of experience in instrumentation and control maintenance within power generation, industrial plants, or comparable heavy industries.

· Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, control systems, automation technologies, and industrial troubleshooting methodologies.

· Demonstrated ability to analyze equipment issues and implement effective corrective actions.

· Proficiency with plant management systems, Microsoft Office applications, and maintenance documentation processes.

· Professional working proficiency in English and the ability to work effectively within diverse and multicultural teams.
