A Snapshot of Your Day
You will be part of a highly motivated team and as an engineer you will make a significant contribution to the successful project execution of our processing unit. You will master interesting technical challenges within a project team and work closely with the project management. You will have the opportunity to modernize existing systems with the latest technology updates, integrate innovative functions and adapt them to current requirements. You will work with our customers on global modernization projects across all project phases, from supporting the person responsible for the offer to handing over the project to the customer and play a key role in shaping the path to a sustainable energy transition.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Execution and engineering of modernization projects on steam turbines and Synchronous condenser projects
- Execution of all project phases, including regular monitoring of the project for deviations (costs, schedule, quality) in close coordination with project management
- Preparation of I&C concepts for the modernization of control technology on steam turbines, Combined-Cycle Power-Plants and Synchronous condenser
- Development of project-specific software solutions for turbine protection and control
- Engineering of the control technology, performance of functional tests and commissioning
- Responsible for the planning and coordination of internal and external partners (suppliers, production, international engineering, etc.) and our customers
What You Bring
- Successful completed technical degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, power engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering or comparable education, several years of experience desirable
- Good knowledge in the field of general electrical engineering, power engineering and if possible, in the power plant sector
- Affinity for project management and the development of special topics and pilot projects
- Knowledge of process automation and/or electrical engineering in the area of turbine control technology preferred
- You are willing to travel worldwide (up to approx. 30%) Business fluent English, German language skills desirable

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
