A Snapshot of Your Day
Imagine representing the Instrumentation and Control Commissioning Group on global project assignments, where your work directly contributes to the energy transition. You will commission Siemens Energy’s scope on large-scale projects like world-class, low-emission Power Plants, Grid Stabilizing Systems, and Battery Energy Storage Systems. Your role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of Instrumentation and Control and Distributed Control System equipment. Working within a multinational team on-site, you’ll commission individual components or entire systems, ensuring the quality of our services. Your feedback from on-site experiences will drive continuous improvement in our products, making a tangible impact on innovation and sustainability.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will lead the commissioning of Distributed Control Systems, Instrumentation and Control systems, and process systems for combined cycle power plants and energy transition solutions.
- Conduct tests on protection and control systems, optimize controls, and troubleshoot using Siemens Energy DCS System OMNIVISE T3000 or similar technologies.
- Collaborate with internal team members, guide and coordinate external partners and sub-contractors, and engage with customers.
What You Bring
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, such as Automation, Electronics, Robotics, or Control Engineering (BSc or MSc), or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Business fluent German and fluent English; additional language skills are a plus.
- A high willingness to travel and live abroad, worldwide, continuously for several months.
- A self-sufficient, independent, and quality-oriented personality with a team player mindset and excellent adaptability.
- Decisiveness and openness to other cultures.
- A valid driving license.
